Photographer Roger Lever is considering sharing his workshop and gallery with another artist in return for helping to keep the gallery open a few days each week.
Part of the gallery could be made available to show the artists work and for exhibitions.
This is currently only an idea and would have to be discussed in more detail with a suitable candidate.

The J D Fergusson Arts Award provides an exhibition opportunity consisting of:
Funding for research and development of a body of new work.
- Exhibition opportunity at The Fergusson Gallery.
- Funding for an illustrated catalogue to accompany the show.
- Acquisition of work into Perth & Kinross Council's Permanent Collection.
Open to artists working in an visual arts discipline:
Who were born in Scotland or have lived more than half their life there.
Who graduated more than three years ago.
Whose previous awards/support was not over the value of £1,000 on any one occasion, and not received within the last two years.

Project Art

Project Art is a co-operative of local artists based in Dumfries and Galloway, who exhibit paintings, drawings and other artworks in "The Gallery" on High Street, Lockerbie.
The Gallery is open from Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm, and on Saturday 10am -1pm, and also hosts the photographs of George Porteous.
